Why Seasonal Deep Cleaning Matters
Even the most diligent daily cleaner misses things. Dust settles behind refrigerators, mildew creeps into window seals, and drawer liners get grimy without ever really being noticed. Seasonal deep cleaning — done thoroughly once every few months — catches everything your regular routine leaves behind.
Spring is the ideal time for a reset: windows can be opened for ventilation, and after months of closed-up winter heating, your home genuinely needs a refresh.
How to Use This Checklist
Work through the checklist one room at a time. Check off each item as you complete it. Don't try to do the entire house in one day — spread it over a weekend or across a week, tackling one or two rooms per session.

Tips for Getting Through It
Seasonal deep cleaning is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep these principles in mind:
- Top to bottom, back to front: Always start at the ceiling (light fixtures, fans) and work down to the floors. Work from the back of a room toward the exit.
- Soak first, scrub later: Apply cleaning solutions and let them dwell before scrubbing. This does the chemical work for you.
- One room at a time: Avoid the trap of starting every room and finishing none. Complete each space before moving on.
With this checklist in hand, you'll never wonder "did I forget anything?" again.
